Welcome. Come on in, pour yourself a cup of your favorite poison, put your feet up on the coffee table, and stay a while.

These are listed in order of appearance, with the most recent at the top. Author's notes, warnings, thanks and credits can be found in the headers for each story. It takes a village, folks.

If anyone is interested in toying with these stories in any way, remixes, sequels, prequels, podfic, translation, interpretive dance or what have you, please, and by all means, feel free. These characters aren’t mine. They belong to all of us. To that end, drop me a line. I’d be thrilled to help in any way that I can.

Thanks for stopping by.

Title: Warm Nights and Southern Stars
Genre: Jared/Jensen AU
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 27,000
Summary: There are some things Jared knows: not to eat the meatloaf on Fridays in the university cafeteria, the combination to the engineering lab, that his heart didn't break when Jensen packed up his car and pointed it toward Hollywood one bright, sunny day near the end of August. It just cracked a little. Jensen knows camera angles, all the tricks to make fiction look like fact on film, and that his heart did break that day in August, although it takes him years to realize it.

While Jared has been spending his days in classes and buried under books, Jensen has worked equally hard to get his name in the credits. An early morning phone call makes Jared drop everything and hop on a plane bound for Los Angeles. Although it's been a long time since they've seen each other, Jared can still see traces of kid he used to know. He also learns that he's not over something that he never really had in the first place.

Soon after arriving at the tiny barrier island, however, he finds himself drawn into the laid back life of the locals, and one local in particular.

Jensen does alright for himself. A part-time gig at the local bar down on the main drag, along with the occasional repair work when his buddies wreck their surfboards keeps him from starving. He has a great group of friends, who know not to mention it when he talks in circles or his hands shake a little. Genre: J2 AU
Word Count: 28,000
Rating: NC-17

Scoring had become his full-time job, and finding a safe place to sleep was what he did in his time off. It was only a matter of time until this life caught up with him. Now, strung out and with no where else to go, Jensen finds himself following his feet to a place he never thought he would go--to the home of a stranger who can unfailingly see past Jensen's mistakes, and who can see right through to the good that is still left within him. Summary:  In Seminary, Sam cultivated a love of knowledge and of God, in exactly that order.  He was taught that vampires were real, that silver could take down a werewolf, and that belief could be a living, breathing thing.  In Seminary, Dean learned how to fight.  Most of all, Dean learned to have faith in his brother.  They were both introduced to the true meaning of war.  Now the war is finished and the church has disbanded their sect of elite warriors, leaving them to fend in an unfamiliar civilian society.  They are ragtag refugees of a war everyone tries to forget.  For Sam and Dean, however, the fight is far from over.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'd linked it to the old journal...all fixed now, and I'm glad you tracked it down.

Better sooner than later.

I usually procrastinate a lot. This time I wanted to say this right away. Not later, not "when I'm good and ready and that I know what to Write to this Amazing Author I like."

So here goes, raw and not very articulate: Thank you for what you do with your stories that make me come back for more. I was really not into Dean/Sam pairing nor was I all that interested in Jensen/Jared.

Until I found "A Handful Of Rain."

The mind boggles.

I *like* it. I can totally relate to Jensen, from the very beginning. Like I'm watching a movie, vivid images flash through my head with every word I read. It feels real, not too angsty, just a life, Jensen's. That could probably be better, but like everything else. You made Jensen real, touching. Human. And you add that little piece of something that makes this story yours.

I think that's what define great writers. They create a world that is clearly theirs, almost as if they put a piece of themselves and then they share it with the reader. So very powerful this is.Complicated, too. You have to be able to create your own universe (this is especially hard in fanfiction, where the universe already exists but you cannot just take it and alter a few things here and there like one would put a red nose on Mona Lisa to make it funnier. You have to blend it yet create something new while respecting the characters true nature.)

So, Bravo, thank you, and I hope you know you make people very happy ^^.

As I said, not very articulate but I did not want to wait.

Sorry for the late response. I read this comment a while ago and have been thinking of the exact right way to say thank you for it. There isn't one really. So glad you liked 'Handful,' a story that is still very near and dear to me.

Usually I write something and post it and that clears it out of my head, if that makes sense. But that hasn't been the case with 'Handful.' That one has stuck around, I still find myself squinting my eyes and tilting my head in certain scenarios and wondering what the Jensen of 'Handful' would think. To hear from you that I hit the mark with it means to world to me. I've been blown away by your response to it--it's not an easy thing to read and it's not a happy ending, no bones about it, but to hear that it's made you happy is a hell of a compliment.

Very many thanks--and you were plenty articulate.

I know it's probably asking a lot....and I apologise beforehand, but we all have out foibles:). A lot of your summaries are very short and unrevealing....what I would like to know is which one's are bottom!Jensen? Please. If you don't have time to give me the information then no worries I can do a quick scan of some which catch my eye and go from there. Thanks:).

I often think it would be an added aid/incentive to readers if writer's tagged their 'bottom' character as a matter of course. Some ppl don't mind reading portrayals either way whilst others have an uncontrollable preference:).
