Anybody got any tips on removing glitter nail polish? I'm starting to think that I'm going to be wearing this stuff in perpetuity.
Leaving in a few short minutes to pay a visit to my tattoo artist. Getting some work done on the big project I have going with my leg. Perhaps this will be the year that I finally finish it? I'm also getting something vaguely fannish on my foot, not in the usual sense of the word, but...well...it makes sense to me and that's the whole point. Words, words, words. This will be my first literary tattoo, if you can believe that. Very excited.
Once that's all sorted, I'm retreating to my writing spot for the balance of the weekend. The remainder of the household is out of town for the next few days and I will be blissfully left to my own devices. To that end, I've provisioned: a good bottle of rum, a bottle of merlot, a loaf of sourdough right out of the oven, a big ol' pot of veggie chili in the crockpot bubbling away, and a tin of fresh coffee, french roast, mailed to me from a friend in New Orleans who knows my heart. The plan is to down periscope until I've put the finishing touches on one very overdue fic, and until at least 10k of yonder bigbang is down on paper. If you see me batting around, tell me to shut up and write.
